Inspiring Friend - Silmi K

Inspiring Friend

When my teacher told me to write about inspiring friend, I’m a little bit confused at first. When suddenly, my friend Sesi asked me who will I wrote?  Finally I know who one of my inspiring friends. So, meet my friend, her name is Sintia Sesilia. Actually, I have some friends beside her, but I want to tell about her now. She is my classmate in X-9, SMAN 3. Sintia or usually called by her nickname Sesi, was born in Bandung, 8 January 1997. Sesi is one month older than me; I was born in 8 February while she was born in 8 January. I remember when we argued to get number 8 for our class jersey. Sesi was the third child from 4 siblings; it’s the same with me. What made me envy her is because she has older brother, while I don’t. Her older brother is Rangga, her sister’s name is Putry, she was alumni from SMAN 3 too, and her sister name is Bianca. Sesi and her little sister is one year apart. This year, Bianca will enter Senior High School.
Although I just know her for about one year, I feel close with her. Maybe, the reason why we close are because we are sitting next to each other in the classroom and we always go home together (our home is in the same direction). Actually there is one person who always goes home together with us, her name is Yasmin Lathifa, and she is our classmate too. Besides that, we choose the same extracurricular; baseball/softball and Sanggar Seni Rupa. Unfortunately, we quit from baseball/softball because it’s too tiring even though it’s fun. Sesi have a good drawing skill and good sense of art. No wonder, she became a committee in our class, for Artiloe.
She is not only good in art, but also good in sport. She became our Koji in our class. Koji/Koja is someone who has direct communication with sports teacher or we can say they are our leader when it comes to sport. Koji is for female while Koja is for man. Koji/Koja was chosen by the student. Sesi is also good in soccer. She told me that she loves soccer since she was child. In Junior High School, she joins a soccer club. She is our captain in X-9’s soccer team. No wonder, with her being captain, great individual skills, and team effort, our class can beat XI IPA 3 and X IPA 8.
Beside all of that, what makes her inspire me is her hard-work. She is a brave girl I know. She is still going to school and playing soccer for our class even though she is sick. When the teachers give us tasks, she always managed to get her task done. She is a person who I can ask for advice when I have a problem. I hope in the future, we can get closer and even though we graduated from Senior High School, we still can be good friends.
