                National Exam Full of Problems

The administration of the National Exam (UN) is delayed in North Sumatra. In East Kalimantan, the administration of UN which has been delayed to Wednesday (17/4), is delayed again to Thursday (18/4). Even the Education Agency of Balikpapan City cannot give warranty that the exam can be held according to the schedule as the delivery of the exam paper has been delayed. Mistakes are also found in the distribution of the exam paper in some regions.
Gatot Pujo Nugroho as the Governor of North Sumatra had to delay the administration of the UN for senior high schools (SMA) and equivalent. As the administrator of UN at the provincial level, Gatot affirms that the UN is delayed not due to intervention from the provincial government, but due to deficit of exam paper. Therefore, the UN which is initially planned to be held on Monday (15/4) must be delayed.
The Ministry of Education and Culture has previously stated that the administration of UN will only be delayed in 11 provinces in the geographically central regions of Indonesia. It is because PT Ghalia Indonesia Printing Bogor, the tender winning company that works on the UN paper project has failed in achieving the targets of printing.
