Kwon Ji Young or better known by his stage name G-Dragon. G-Dragon's stage
name originated from his first name (JiYoung) ; G "지" (Ji) from his first name and Dragon coming from "용" (Yong) which means dragon in Korean. G- Dragon was born at 18 August
1988 in Seoul, South Korea.
G-Dragon officially debuted as the
leader and one of two rappers for the Korean group Big Bang . G-Dragon has been writing, composing and
producing many of Big Bang's tracks, including "Lies", "Last
Farewell", and "Haru Haru".
Bigbang consists of leader G-Dragon, T.O.P, Taeyang, Daesung and Seungri.
Bigbang is one of the most successful boyband in Asia in dubbed
"Revolutionary Group of the Hallyu Wave" and "South Korea's Most
Wanted" Because of the unique-original music and their fashion style
compare with other boyband or girlband. They have also been a leader of the (Korean
wave) because of their popularity, success and influence throughout the world.
If he doesn’t become a singer, he want to learn about fashion because he
has passion in fashion. GD said that the most valuable thing for him is hats,
shoes, and accessories. He will be very sad if the objects were lost because
it’s very difficult to find a replacement.
Besides known as a genius musician,
G-Dragon is the unique and difficult to guess figure. His appearance and
fashion style often be the center of the fashionista, his music always managed
to conquer the market, it made the figure of G-Dragon and Big Bang was
respected in the music industry in Korea.
GD tried to ignore and do things that no one else could. In addition, he
claimed that it’s not good if there was the most prominent in a group. But in
fact if you see the Big Bang’s performance or Big Bang’s photo shoot , you can
see there's one person with most different. As you can see from the photo,
G-Dragon showed different pose from other members. That's what made him easily
recognizable.
The first time I saw him on TV. I judge he is a cold and rude person. GD
recognize if from the outside he looks like that, but from the inside it is
not. Only People around him and close with him who knows more about G-Dragon.
This is happened to me when I met my new friends, they would judge me the same
as I judge G-Dragon. G-Dragon didn’t like people who judge him based solely on
his looks. he want to be known for his music rather than his appearance. His
personality gave me a lot of motivation to become a better person. That's what
makes me always admire figure of G-Dragon.
